(CS3 also removed the original High Speed mode with toggle from Falcom and added the Turbo feature from CS1 and 2, that is not coded right and breaks animations if you use it on battles too much). CS3 has issues with orders, sometimes they don't appear, they happen but the animation won't play. They look so damn BAD in the sleek UI, it's an eyesore.īut to me the worst offender is how certain animations won't play on both CS3 and 4 right. Then there's the buttons, the PS4 buttons are not the original buttons in both versions, but a scaled up version of the PS Vita buttons used on CS1 and 2 ports. they didn't try to code a window inside the game to add the new settings and that's lazy. You have to choose Graphics from an outside Window, so if you want to fix an FPS issue, close the game or stay like that. Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure are old games but they were ported with so much care and love, they added features that the original games doesn't have, the buttons are well made and integrate well with the UI of the game, they didn't remove stuff from the PS4 version to do a worse version on PC, they only enhanced it.īut Cold Steel III and IV have some. YS IX is the same, salve the Save menu that I feel its not that good looking as YS8, it's an awesome port from Day1. YS8 is mostly flawless nowadays, everything works like a charm and I can change settings in the game, the buttons are moden and fits the UI of the game. As a huge fan and someone who loves technicality, I find that the Cold Steel III and IV are the ports of games with less effort from NIS America on PC.
